When you visit the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, it is important that you know all the circuits within the citadel of Machu Picchu. The downside of Circuit 1 is that it does not include the Inca structures or Inca ruins located in the lower sector. Circuit 2 has 2 routes that are almost identical: Classic Route and Lower Terrace Route. The entire circuit takes about 2.5 hours to complete.
