What to Expect with Last-Minute Machu Picchu Tickets: Our coordinator will meet you in Aguas Calientes—either at your hotel or the train station—by 09:00 AM. After this time, ticket availability is not guaranteed. You’ll be guided to the office to submit your passport, then meet again in the afternoon to collect your Circuit 2 Machu Picchu tickets. You'll stay overnight in Aguas Calientes (hotel not included). The next morning, board the bus to the Machu Picchu entrance for a 2.5-hour private guided tour of Circuit 2. After the tour, return to town by bus—this concludes your last-minute ticket package.

What Is Included?
Day 1: Ticket Registration for Last-Minute Machu Picchu Tickets
- 05:30 – 08:45 AM: Our staff will meet you at your hotel in Aguas Calientes or at the train station exit.
- Passport Registration: You’ll be guided to the official office to register your passport and receive a registration number. Enjoy free time afterward.
- Approx. 16:00 PM: Pick up your official Machu Picchu Circuit 2 entrance tickets. Exact pickup time depends on your registration number (usually between 1 PM and 4 PM). Free time follows.
- 19:00 PM: Pre-tour briefing with your guide at your hotel in Aguas Calientes. (Hotel not included in the package.)
- Bus to Machu Picchu: Board the official shuttle from Aguas Calientes to the Machu Picchu entrance.
- Entry Ticket: Entry time is assigned automatically and may range from 6 AM to 2 PM. We cannot control or change your time slot. Low season typically assigns 9 AM; high season often assigns 1 PM.
- 2.5-Hour Private Guided Tour: Explore the most complete and scenic route, Circuit 2 of Machu Picchu, with a licensed guide.
- Return Bus: Shuttle back to Aguas Calientes after your tour.

Tickets are sold out on the official website. Are my tickets guaranteed with this tour?
Yes, your Circuit 2 entrance ticket is guaranteed with this package—as long as you follow the staff’s instructions. What is not guaranteed is the exact entry time, which is assigned during registration.
Note: Only 1,000 last-minute tickets are issued daily. During Peruvian holidays, there's a rare (approx. 1%) chance that high demand could delay your access by one day. In such cases, you may need to stay an additional night in Aguas Calientes at your own expense.
Can I add Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu Mountain, or Huchuy Picchu to my last-minute tour?
Maybe. You can request an additional ticket for Huayna Picchu, Huchuy Picchu, or Machu Picchu Mountain when you pick up your Circuit 2 ticket. Availability depends on the season:
- During low-demand periods, it’s usually possible the same day.
- During high-demand times, an extra overnight stay may be required.
- Choose the earliest entrance for Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, then request your Circuit 2 ticket for 4 hours later.
- For Huchuy Picchu, request Circuit 2 for 2 hours later.
Terms and Conditions – Last-Minute Machu Picchu Tour
Cancellation Policy:
You may cancel this tour with a penalty of $55 USD per person if you provide at least 72 hours advance notice. This fee covers the cost of non-refundable and non-changeable bus tickets.
If you cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice, no refund of any kind can be issued—regardless of the reason. We strictly enforce this policy due to the non-refundable nature of the bus tickets, and the cost involved in securing your private guide, covering taxes, and managing administrative work.
Tour Date Changes:
You may request to change your tour date with at least 72 hours’ notice. A $10 USD per person rescheduling fee will apply to modify your reservation.
Important Notice Regarding High-Demand Dates:
During peak periods—such as Peru’s Independence Day (around July 28) and graduation season (September–October)—there is a small chance (approx. 1%) that Circuit 2 tickets may sell out even after registration. In such rare cases, you will be given the option to:
- Switch to another available circuit (Circuit 1 with Machu Picchu Mountain, Circuit 3 with Royalty, or Circuit 3 with Huayna Picchu), or
- Extend your stay by one additional night in Aguas Calientes to wait for Circuit 2 ticket availability.
